English for the situations you face.

Work on a fictional assistant through scope, evaluation, security and monitoring. Discuss a useful pilot without overstating the system's abilities or hiding its limits.

Set a clear scope

Describe the intended task and the situations the system should not handle.

Report an evaluation

Connect an output to the input and the test conditions.

Explain a limitation

Describe a failure accurately without guessing its cause.

Discuss a pilot decision

Summarize the evidence, unresolved risks and next checks.

Picture one workday.

The assistant invents a policy detail.

An original example of the planned learning approach. The workplace and project are fictional.

The situation

In a test, the assistant gives a refund period that does not appear in the supplied policy. You need to describe the result to a teammate.

What you practice

Use the output says and the source does not state to separate observation from explanation. A wrong answer does not by itself establish why the system produced it.

A response to build toward

The output says customers have 60 days, but the supplied policy does not state that. We need to investigate how that detail was generated.

Your next step

Write a precise test observation and a follow-up question, without inventing a diagnosis.

A workday with something to say.

A message arrives. A teammate needs an answer. Scott helps you understand the situation and build the English to respond.

  1. 1

    Meet the situation

Start with a workplace request, a conversation or a document.

  2. 2

    Build your English

Learn useful vocabulary, sentence patterns and ways to express your meaning.

  3. 3

    Prepare your response

Follow a model, rehearse your wording and work through the task.

  4. 4

    Use it and review

Practice the exchange, record the key points and connect them to the next workday.

The planned experience follows 30 workdays across six simulated weeks. Study at your own pace; “your first month” describes the experience, not a completion deadline.
