TOEIC Grammar: responsible for doing
A job description tells you who handles a task. “Responsible for checking orders” names that duty; it does not mean the person is checking an order at this moment.

Say “Mina is responsible for checking orders.” After for, use checking, not check or to check, when naming this activity. A noun also works: “responsible for the orders.”
Keep the whole pattern together.
Use a form of be, then responsible for, then the duty. For is a preposition here, so an activity can follow in the -ing form. Be changes with the subject and time: is responsible, are responsible, was responsible. The -ing activity stays the same.

Responsible for can also introduce a noun. Do not change “responsible for safety” into an -ing form unnecessarily.
