IELTS letters: finish with a clear, relevant request
You have explained the situation. Before you sign off, check whether the reader can tell what response would resolve your request. This practice is for IELTS General Training Writing Task 1.
The short answer
If the letter needs a response or action, make it specific near the end: Could you let me know whether an evening replacement session is available? A polite closing such as Thank you for your help does not by itself tell the reader what you need.
End the body by making the relevant next step clear.
Suppose a community class was canceled and you need information about an evening replacement. Could you let me know whether an evening replacement session is available? asks for that information. Please confirm my evening booking assumes a booking already exists, which the situation has not established. Keep a request for information separate from a claim that an arrangement is confirmed.

Could you let me know whether an evening replacement session is available?
Please send me the available dates.
Thank you for your help.
I look forward to hearing from you is a conventional closing. It is not wrong, but it cannot replace a missing explanation of what you want to hear about.

Common questions
A few useful details before you move on.
Should I remove Thank you?
No. You can keep a genuine thank-you after a clear request. The point is to make the requested action understandable, not to remove politeness.
Please send me the available dates. Thank you for your help.
Does every letter need a request at the end?
No. A letter giving thanks or explaining a situation may need a different ending. Follow its purpose and the task points instead of forcing one memorized formula.
Thank you again for making my visit so enjoyable.
Take it into your day
A useful final request asks for the needed response without changing the situation.
